چکیده

The distributed measured data in large regions and remote locations, along with a need to estimate climatic for point sites where no have been recorded, has encouraged the implementation of spatial interpolation techniques. Recently, increasing use artificial intelligence become promising alternative conventional deterministic algorithms interpolation. present study aims evaluate some machine learning-based against strategies interpolating soil temperature from region southeast Canada an area 1000 km by 550 km. radial basis function neural networks (RBFN) deep learning approach were used railroad after spline method failed interpolate gridded on desired locations. showed weaknesses areas sudden changes. This limitation did not improve even nonlinearity. Although both had successful performances sharp transition areas, outperformed former normalized RMSE 9.0% 16.2% R-squared 89.2% 53.8%. finding was confirmed same investigation water content.

Correcting the Temperature Influence on Soil Capacitance Sensors Using Diurnal Temperature and Water Content Cycles

The influence of temperature on the dielectric permittivity of soil is the result of counteracting effect that depends on the soil's composition and mineralogy. In this paper, laboratory experiments showed that for a given water content, the soil dielectric permittivity was linearly related to the temperature, with a slope (α) that varied between samples taken in the same soil. These variations...

Soil Water Content Monitoring Using Electromagnetic Induction

The use of electromagnetic ~EM! induction measurements was evaluated to predict water content in the upper 1.50 m of a prototype engineered barrier soil profile designed for waste containment. Water content was monitored with a neutron probe, and bulk soil electrical conductivity was monitored with a Geonics EM38 ground conductivity meter at ten locations at approximately monthly intervals over...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
